"Why Should Men Support Gender Equality at Work?" - A Talk with Dr. Michael Kimmel

  • The Wharton School (map)

The 22s are excited to welcome Dr. Michael Kimmel to Wharton, author of "Angry White Men: American Masculinity at the End of an Era" and several other books that focus on men and masculinities.

The topic will be "Why Should Men Support Gender Equality at Work?"

Recently featured at TEDWomen 2015 where he delivered a talk on "Why Gender Equality is good for everyone — men included", Dr. Kimmel is a tireless advocate of engaging men to support gender equality. In fact, he was recently called "the world's most prominent male feminist" in the Guardian newspaper in London.

There will be a talk at noon followed by a meet-and-greet at 1 pm. A light lunch will be served.
